Ignorant people racially abusing England Footballers

England footballers Ashley Young and Ashley Cole have been racially abused on twitter and other social networking sites. It's disgusting to see and read what people write about other people just because of the colour of their skin. We are living in the 21st century and it's appalling to see people who are so ignorant and uneducated. We really need to teach our children and educate people around us to be tolerant of different races, ethnic groups, religious beliefs and sexual orientation. The police are said to be investigating the alleged racist tweets. This is not the first time this has occurred back in March a student was arrested for tweeting racially abusive tweet about Fabrice Muamba who at the time had suffered cardiac arrest. It saddens me to have to right an article like this but it has to be done in order to educate people. This is not a subject to be taken lightly. We hope to see the ignorant people who wrote this disturbing stuff put in jail or fined. What are your thoughts?
